What are we doing in Texas?

The Builders model focuses on: (1) helping citizens build resilience against extreme ideas, (2) enabling problem-solving on gridlocked issues, and (3) empowering citizens to hold elected officials accountable to represent the will of the people.

In Texas, we’re conducting polls on key issues where there’s a significant gap between what the people want and what the government delivers. We’ll mobilize citizens to solve these issues, partnering them with policy experts to co-create solutions that transcend partisanship. We've already successfully piloted this approach in Tennessee.

Finally, we’ll equip citizens with tools to hold lawmakers accountable for bipartisan action. For example, in the last election, we introduced a ranking system that evaluates politicians based on how well they solve problems versus dividing citizens. We’ll also encourage Texans to embody the Builders mindset and vote in the primaries.
